When you need this
- A system needs the annex as CSV, not as a workbook.

- A spreadsheet has to go somewhere that cannot read .xlsx.

What this tool will not do
- The first sheet with data is exported — a multi-sheet workbook does not become multiple CSVs.
- Formatting, colours, merged cells and charts are not represented in CSV, by definition.
- Formulas are exported as their computed values.

The sheet with data. If your workbook has several, split it or export them one at a time.
Will Excel open it correctly? +
Yes. The BOM is what makes Excel read it as UTF-8 instead of guessing the system codepage.
Do formulas survive? +
Their results do. CSV has no concept of a formula.
