Merge PDF

Combine a contract, its appendices and its signature pages into one document.

Free · No account needed · Your file is never stored

Files are processed in memory and never stored on our servers.

How it works

1

Upload

Drop in your files and put them in order.

2

We process it

Combine a contract, its appendices and its signature pages into one document.

3

Download and analyze

Take the result, then find out what the document actually commits you to.

Why use LegalValidate for merge pdf

You set the order

Drag the rows, or nudge them with the arrow buttons on a phone. The order in the list is the order in the document.

Up to 20 files at once

A contract with its annexes, schedules and signature pages goes in as one job, up to 30 MB in total.

Page numbering stays continuous

The result is one document, not a bundle — pages run 1 to n and every viewer treats it as a single file.

Nothing is stored

All the files are merged in memory and discarded once the download is served.

When you need this

  • The contract, its two annexes and the signed last page arrived as four emails.
  • A tender submission has to be filed as one document.
  • Photos of a signed agreement need to become one file, in order.
  • You want the terms and the price schedule reviewed together rather than separately.

What this tool will not do

  • Merging is by file, not by page. To pull specific pages out first, use Split PDF, or do the whole job in the document workspace.
  • Password-protected files cannot be opened, so they cannot be merged.
  • Bookmarks and form fields from the source files are not carried into the result.

Merge PDF — questions

How do I control the order? +

Drag the rows in the list before pressing Merge. On a phone, the arrow buttons beside each row do the same thing — drag-and-drop does not fire on touch.

Can I merge a Word file with a PDF? +

Convert the .docx with Word to PDF first, then merge. The document workspace will also accept both and normalise them for you.

Is there a limit? +

Up to 20 files and 30 MB in total per merge.

Is the document a contract?

The same file can be read against six criteria — clarity, risk protection, enforceability, balance of terms, structure and overall exposure — free and without an account.

Need to do more than one thing to this document?

Open it in the document workspace instead: upload once, then reorder, rotate, delete, merge and compress without sending the file again.
