- This server converts without LibreOffice, so the renderer handles text, headings and tables well but may drop or reposition images and complex layouts.
- Tracked changes and comments are not rendered — accept or reject them in Word first, or they simply vanish.
- Password-protected .docx files cannot be opened.

Will my images survive? +
Text, headings and tables convert faithfully. Images and heavily designed layouts may be dropped or moved, because the conversion runs without a full office suite. For a text contract this is invisible; for a brochure it is not.
Does it handle Russian or Uzbek documents? +
Yes. A Unicode font is embedded in the output, so Cyrillic text renders correctly rather than as boxes.
What happens to tracked changes? +
They are not shown in the PDF. Accept or reject them in Word before converting, otherwise the PDF silently reflects one version and you may not know which.
Is it really free? +
