A legal document is any document that creates or constrains an obligation, and most of them never reach a lawyer. Privacy policies get accepted, terms get clicked through, vendor agreements get filed. Analysis is what turns those from paperwork into something you have actually read.
What the document type changes
The six criteria are the same for every document, but what they catch differs. In an NDA, Clarity and Completeness is where an undefined "Confidential Information" surfaces. In an employment contract, Balance of Terms is where a one-way notice period does. In a privacy policy, Risk Protection is where a vague lawful basis shows up.
The analyzer detects the type from the text rather than asking you to pick one, which matters when a document is not what it is titled — a "service agreement" that is really an employment contract is a common and expensive mistake.

What it will not do
- It analyses what is in the document. It cannot know about the side letter, the verbal promise, or the amendment that was never signed.
- Handwritten amendments are not reliably read, and should not be.
- It is not a compliance certification for any regulation, and does not claim to be one.

Does it work on documents in other languages? +
English, Russian and Uzbek are supported end to end, including text recognition for scans. Other languages generally work but we do not promise them.
Can it check a document against GDPR or another regulation? +
It will flag vague or one-sided data terms and missing protections, and that is useful — but it is not a compliance assessment and should not be presented as one.
