A first read of a contract costs a lawyer's hourly rate. Here it starts at nothing — three full analyses a month on a free account — and ten dollars a month buys ten of them.

The document tools are not metered on any plan. They exist to get a contract into a state the review can read — a scan with no text layer cannot be analysed by anything, and charging you to fix that would be charging you for our own precondition.
Try it before you decide
Three documents a day, no account, no card. If the scores do not tell you something useful about your own contract, no plan will.

The tools keep no copy at all. The workspace holds a file for about two hours. A free review keeps it 24 hours so you can claim the result. Nothing trains a model, nothing is sold.
Security and privacyPricing — questions
Can I use LegalValidate for free? +
Yes, in two ways. Without an account, the home page and the analyse pages score three documents a day — six criteria and a weakness count, no card. A free account adds three full analyses every month, rewritten document included. Separately, all 25 document tools — converters, OCR, merge, split, compress, e-signing — are free and unlimited either way.
What counts as one analysis? +
One analysis of one file. Uploading does not count — only an analysis that actually runs does, and one that fails on our side is given back. Converting, merging, compressing or signing a document is not metered at all.
What happens when I reach my limit? +
Analyses stop until your next billing period, or you can upgrade and continue straight away. Nothing is charged in the background: there is no overage price, so you can never be billed for more than the plan you chose.
Does unused quota roll over? +
No. Each period starts with the full allowance and unused analyses do not carry into the next month.
Is there an annual plan? +
Yes — Starter $99/year, Pro $199/year, Business $499/year. The monthly analysis limit is unchanged and resets every month: paying for a year does not hand you twelve months of quota on the first day.
What is the difference between Starter and Pro? +
Starter is 10 analyses a month. Pro is 30, and adds the clause-level read, the AI explanations behind each score, and the side-by-side comparison of your document against the rewrite.
What is Business, and what does "50 a month" mean exactly? +
Business is for teams reviewing contracts regularly: 50 analyses a month, and 50 is the actual number rather than a "50+" that quietly stops somewhere. If you need more, contact us and we will quote a plan for the volume.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes, from your account. Cancelling stops the renewal — you keep the plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, rather than losing it the moment you click.
What is the difference between the free review and a paid one? +
The free review gives you the six scores, the detected document type and a count of the concrete weaknesses. A paid plan adds the part that takes real work: the document rewritten in its own language, with the weak clauses strengthened, the missing standard provisions added, and a change log of what was altered.
Do you store the documents I pay to analyse? +
Documents analysed inside an account stay in that account until you delete them, so you can come back to a review. Deleting a document deletes the file. Full detail on the security page.
Is an AI review a substitute for a lawyer? +
No, and no plan changes that. It replaces the first read — the slow part where someone works out what is in the document — so a lawyer starts from the questions rather than from page one.
