1

Upload

2

We process it

Pull out the pages you need — a single clause, an annex, or every page on its own.

3

Download and analyze

Take the result, then find out what the document actually commits you to.

Why use LegalValidate for split pdf

Ranges, in plain notation

Type "1-5, 8, 12-15" and get exactly those. Each range becomes its own file.

Or every page separately

One click turns a contract into one PDF per page, delivered as a .zip.

Named so you can tell them apart

Parts are named after the source document and their page range, not part1, part2, part3.

The original is untouched

Splitting produces new files; nothing is modified and nothing is kept.

When you need this

  • Only the schedule needs to go to the finance team, not the whole agreement.
  • A single clause has to be sent to a lawyer for an opinion.
  • The signature pages need to be filed separately from the terms.
  • A 200-page bundle contains three contracts that should be three files.

What this tool will not do

  • Up to 50 parts per job — splitting a 300-page document into single pages exceeds that.
  • A range past the end of the document is refused with a message saying which part is wrong, rather than silently producing less.
  • The output is a .zip when there is more than one part, which is not directly reviewable — send the original for analysis, not the archive.

Split PDF — questions

How do I write the page range? +

Commas separate parts, hyphens make a range: "1-5, 8, 12-15" gives three files. Spaces are ignored.

Can I get one file per page? +

Yes — choose "every page as its own file" and the result arrives as a .zip.

What is the page limit? +

Up to 50 output parts per job, from a file of up to 10 MB.

Is the document a contract?

The same file can be read against six criteria — clarity, risk protection, enforceability, balance of terms, structure and overall exposure — free and without an account.
